Lees-McRae College is pleased to debut the new home of its athletic department on the web, launching the all-new LMCBOBCATS.com Thursday, announced Director of Athletics Craig McPhail. Fans can immediately continue following each of Lees-McRae’s 17 intercollegiate athletic programs on the newly redesigned and improved lmcbobcats.com. The new
website will continue to serve as the complete online source for all athletics news including general information, press releases, rosters, schedules, results, social media, live stats, video, statistics, history, pictures, and much more.
"This is a great opportunity for us to continue to show our Athletic Department in such a great light," said McPhail. "This will play a big role in recruiting, marketing and sponsorships for our future student-athletes, current Bobcats and alumni."
A complete facelift from its predecessor, the new website features an updated look and layout consistent with the most up-to-date college athletics websites available. Improvements and additions include more general information pages, specialized recruiting questionnaires for each sport, user friendly video players and photo galleries, conference standings, and social media options right at the fans’ fingertips.
“The Lees-McRae College Athletics Department couldn’t be happier to launch this new website,” said Whitney Noble, Sports Information Director at Lees-McRae. “This website is a testament to the College’s continued efforts to reach out in the community, and relate to its ever-growing base of alumni, sponsors, donors, students, and fans.”
The new site is the culmination of joint efforts between the Lees-McRae athletic department, the College’s Marketing and Communications team, and PrestoSports.
"The decision to partner with PrestoSports to create the new lmcbobcats.com website was an easy decision for the College,” said Noble. “PrestoSports is one of the market leaders in college athletics websites today, and is constantly expanding its already extensive client base. PrestoSports has been involved with Lees-McRae sports information efforts for several years as the host provider of the official website of Conference Carolinas.”
