Quick Gets His Own Trading Card PDF Print

Former Appalachian State wide receiver Brian Quick has been given his first official trading card thanks to the Topps Company, located in New York City. Quick, the all-time leading receiver in ASU history, was taken by the

St. Louis Rams with the first pick (33rd overall) in the second round of the National Football League Draft in April.
The 6-3, 222-pound Quick, who became the highest NFL draft pick in Appalachian State’s histoy had 71 receptions for 1,096 yards and a 15.4-yard average and 11 touchdowns his senior season with seven 100-yard games.  Quick is Appalachian’s all-time leading receiver with 202 receptions, 3,418 yards and 31 touchdown catches, breaking school records that had stood for seven, 31 and 43 years, respectively. He’s also the only two-time all-America wide receiver in Mountaineer history.
