Mauney, Brady To Play In State Games PDF Print

For the second year in a row, Lillie Brady and Lydia Mauney will represent Watauga High at the North Carolina State Games. Brady and Mauney played in the state games last summer earning a gold medal with the West All-Stars. The

West team will be coached by Jason Dragoon of East Lincoln High, who coached the team last summer. Brady played in 20 games this season (she started in 19 of those games) for the PIoneers. She had six goals and two assists; Mauney played in 18 games and started 14. She scored two goals with three assists. The North Carolina State Games will be played at W. Dennie Spry Stadium at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, June 16-17. Patrick Gladys of A.C. Reynolds will coach the West All-Stars in the men's tournament.
