Clark Headed To ASU PDF Print

He's only a junior, but right hander Bailey Clark has all ready made up his mind. Clark, who attends Asheville Christian Academy in Asheville, N.C.,  has made a verbal commitment lto attend Appalachian State University. Clark’s fastball has already been clocked at 91 miles-an-hour and his pitch selection that also includes a changeup and a curveball. During

the regular season, Clark, who stands 6-foot-4, had a 1.30 earned run average with 79 strikeouts in 53 2/3 innings pitched. Clark had 12 strikeouts Friday in a loss against Rocky Mount Academy in the Class 2A NCISAA playoffs. Clark also batted .328 this season, and he threw a no-hitter earlier this year. He will play in the North Carolina State Games for the Region 8 All-Star June 13-17 in Winston-Salem, and he also plays travel ball with the Impact Baseball Dirtbags.
