The T.C. Roberson Athletic Department has announced that Tuesday night's second-round game between the Watauga High baseball team and T.C. Roberson will officially begin at 7 p.m. WHS (16-8) will have the right hander Matt Proffitt (6-2 with 2 saves) on the mound. The Rams (25-2) are ranked

No.1 in the state in Class 4A by Impactbaseball.com.
WHS advanced to second-round play by knocking off East Gaston 12-1 in its first round game Friday night. The game was called after six innings because of the ten-run mercy rule; the Rams survived a scare in the first round as they knocked off Hopewell 6-5 with a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh.
Our coverage begins at 6:25 p.m. on Oldies 100.7 FM.
