The Kannapolis Intimidators finally picked up a win against the Hickory Crawdads on Monday night. After they dropped the first two games of the series, the Inditimidators (13-17) rallied from a 2-0 deficit and defeated the Crawdads

5-4 at CMC-Northeast Stadium on Monday night. Losing pitcher Will Lamb, who kept the Intimidators scoreless through the first three innings was finally victimized in the fourth. Trailing 2-0, Leighton Pangilinan of the Intimidators got things started when he was hit by a pitch to lead-off the frame. Mark Haddow doubled and moved him to third.  After Keenyn Walker walked to load the bases, Martin Medina belted a two-run single to right-center field that tied the game. Lamb retired the next two batters, but Ross Wilson smacked a two-run single that gave the Intimidators a 4-2 lead.
A solo home run by Jeremy Williams, who drove in two runs on the night, made it 4-3 in the seventh. But the Intimidator recaptured a two-run lead with a tally in the eighth. Pangilinan led off with a double and scored moments later on an RBI double by Haddow for a 5-3 lead. The Crawdads (18-12) rallied with a run in the top of ninth, but their comeback fell short.
Kellin Deglan led-off with a walk and raced to third on a single by Williams. Pinch-hitter Chris Grayson scored Deglan on a sacrifice fly to center field to make it 5-4. But Terance Marin, who came on in relief, retired the next two batters to pick up his third save of the season.
A solo home run by Drew Robinson in the second inning, and a run-scoring single by Williams in the fourth inning staked Hickory to an early 2-0 lead before Kannapolis rallied for four runs in the fourth.
