A six-run uprising in the bottom of the sixth inning on Monday wiped out a 2-0 deficiti and lifted the Hickory Crawdads to a 6-4 win in the rubber game of a three game series with the Charleston RiverDogs. Losing pitcher Bryan Mitchell

kept the Crawdads (16-8) hitless through the first five innings before the things fell apart in the sixth.
Luis Sardinas got things started with a lead-off walk. He moved to second base on a single by Chris Grayson. Drew Robinson walked to load the bases and Hanser Alberto ripped a two-run double to left-center field, scoring Sardinas and Grayson that tied the game 2-2. An errant throw on the play allowed Robinson to score as well giving the Crawdads a 3-2 lead. Alberto motored all the way to third on the play. Zach Cone drove in Alberto with an RBI single making it 4-2; Kellin Deglan, doubled putting runners at second and third with nobody out for Joe Maloney. A fielder's choice retired Cone at the plate, but Deglan advanced to third and Maloney got to second on the play.  A wild pitch scored Deglan and moved Maloney to third; Trever Adams' sacrifice fly to left field scored Maloney closed out the scoring and gave the Crawdads a 6-2 lead.
The RiverDogs rallied with two runs in the eighth on a a two-run blast by Reymond Nunez making it 6-4. But Phil Klein (S, 2) took over on the mound, and, with the help of two highlight-reel catches by Alberto on line drives up the middle, shut the door for his second save of the year.
