The San Francisco Giants are looking pretty good right now after they decided to give Madison Bumgarner a five-year contract extention last week. Since he received the extention, Bumgarner has been pretty solid. In his last two starts, he's beaten the Philadelphia Phillies

and the New York Mets. Bumgarner (3-1) has given up just three earned runs in 13 innings with six strike outs during that stretch. That includes Tuesday night's effort against the Mets.
Bumgarner went seven innings and gave up an earned run on three hits with four strikeouts as the Giants completed the double-header sweep with a 7-2 win in game two. San Francisco won the opener, 6-1. Bumgarner also lowered his earned-run-average to 2.96 for the season.
His next scheduled start will be on Saturday against the San Diego Padres at AT&T Park in San Francisco.
