The Tusculum Baseball Team (37-7, 22-3) remained in sole possession of first place in the South Atlantic Conference with a 15-2 win over Lenoir-Rhyne (12-35, 8-17) Friday night at Pioneer Park. Tusculum is ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II. The Pioneers' Aaron Guinn (Norris, Tenn.) finished with five hits including two home runs

Tusculum ended the game with a six-run eighth inning highlighted by a three-run home run from Guinn, his second round-tripper of the contest. The Pioneers' Heath Comerford (Athens, Tenn.) added four hits and two runs batted in as Tusculum finished with 18 hits on the evening. Tusculum's Craig Goodman (Clearwater, Fla.) improved to 9-0 on the year after limiting L-R to just two runs while striking out nine batters in the victory. Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore Christian Hicks (Charlotte, N.C.) fell to 1-5 with the loss.
