The rejuvenated Denver Broncos have re-signed defensive end Jason Hunter completing one of the team's offseason priorities. The Broncos completed their transaction Thursday. The seventh-year pro has played in 92 games for Green Bay, Detroit and Denver, accumulating 128 tackles, 11 sacks, one interception,

two forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. Hunter, who went undrafted in 2006 after leading Appalachian State University to the Division I-AA national championship in 2005, is valued for his versatility and sound technique. The Broncos made re-signing him a priority along with linebackers Joe Mays and Wesley Woodyard.
Hunter, who has played 32 games for the Broncos since joining them as a free-agent in 2010, made 21 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss and had a quarterback sack last season. Hunter, a Charlotte native, was signed as an unrestricted free agent.
