Lees-McRae College sophomore Kortnie Curry (Lexington, N.C.) has been named the Conference Carolinas Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row, announced league officials Wednesday. Curry paced the Bobcats to a strong performance at High Point University's

VertKalsse Meeting this past weekend, equaling her own school record with a mark of 1.62 meters in the high jump en route to a fifth-place finish. The sophomore has set or equaled a school record in each meet in which she has participated this season, as the Bobcats posted 10 top-10 individual finishes and setting a pair of program marks this weekend.
Lees-McRae returns to action on Friday, March 30 when the Bobcats travel to Johnson City, Tenn. to take part in the first day of the Johnson City Invitational.
