In the hours before the March 12th shooting of Daniel Wesley Miller, Watauga Sheriff Len Hagaman says that the two men charged with his shooting damaged four places in Deep Gap.  The release said that the two have now been arrested in the March 11th damage to the deep Gap Fire Department and three other businesses. Tyler Cody Delp, 19, and 21-year old Christopher Curtis Lilly, both of Deep Gap are charged each with four counts of Injury to Real Property and set an additional $15,000 bond. Surveillance video and stills were released of the vehicle involved in a Crimestoppers report, but it took some time to tie the two—identified in the shooting of Daniel Wesley Miller—to the damage.  Miller, 33, was flown to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to his hip and a finger after the incident on Howards Creek Road just after midnight that Monday morning.  Tyler Cody Delp and Christopher Curtis Lilly will make their first court appearance on May 17th.
