Bears Baseball With Pfeiffer Rained Out PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne home baseball game with Pfeiffer, scheduled for Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., has been called off due to rain.  No make-up

date has been set. The Bears entertain Catawaba in a three-game series beginning Friday night.


Bears Men's Tennis Suffers 8-1 Setback To Catawba

The Catawba Men's Tennis Team (13-5, 2-2) defeated Lenoir-Rhyne (1-8, 0-5), 8-1, in a South Atlantic Conference contest at the Johnson Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon. The Bears' lone win came at No. 5 singles when junior David Richardson (Wake Forest, N.C.) downed Catawba's Uri Yarkoni (Kelowna, British Columbia, CANADA) by scores of 7-5 and 7-5.
L-R will next face Brevard in a South Atlantic Conference match at Hickory High School Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m. Catawba travels to Jefferson City, Tenn., to take league-foe Carson-Newman Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Catawba Defeats Lenoir-Rhyne In Women's Tennis


The Catawba College Women's Tennis Team (8-9, 1-3) shut out Lenoir-Rhyne University (2-8, 0-5), 9-0, in a South Atlantic Conference match Tuesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center. With the setback, the Bears saw their two-match winning streak come to an end as well.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Brevard in a South Atlantic Conference match at Hickory High School on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Catawba takes on Carson-Newman in a league contest Friday at 2:00 p.m., in Jefferson City, Tenn.
