Richardson, Gammons Named All-District PDF Print

The accolades just keep pouring in for Ashe County High senior Zeb Richardson. He was named the Mountain Valley Conference 1A/2A Conference Player of the Year and to the Class 2A All-State team by NCPreps.com. Now he's been named to the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association

All-District 11 team. He was joined on the District 11 team by fellow senior and teammate Sam Gammons.
Richardson was a first team selection; Gammons was named to the third team.  Richardson averaged 15.4 and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 55-percent from the field. Gammons averaged 15.3 PPG, 3.3 RPG and 3.1 assists per outing. He shot 58-percent from the floor and led the Huskies in three-point shooting.
Alek Ayer of Alexander Central, Armin Omanovic of Wilkes Central and Michael Burgess of Hibriten were second-team selections. Tyler Crouch of the Cougars was named to the third team.
