The Indians also held advantages in both shots taken (53-31) and ground balls (44-31) while Catawba's Michael Pecchia (Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA) won in goal after stopping 10 shots in the match. Lenoir-Rhyne freshman goalkeeper Alex Squires (Lawrenceville, Ga.) suffered the loss despite making 18 saves on the night.
L-R will look for its first Deep South Conference win of the season when it hosts Florida Southern on Sunday at home beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Catawba, meanwhile, hosts Queens next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
