McCants Off To Blistering Start PDF Print

Rashad McCants, who played on the University of North Carolina's national championship team in 2005, is playing professionally in Puerto Rico. And the former Tar Heel has been

sensational in his first two games.
He's averaging 25 points a game to go along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals per outing. McCants played four years in the National Basketball Association with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings. He was selected by the Timberwolves with the 14th pick of the NBA Draft in 2005.
The former Erwin High product played with the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League last season. He is currently with Caciques de Humacao in Puerto Rico. McCants hasn't played in the NBA since 2008. He played 58 games with Sacramento that season.
