Thanks to Monday's snowy weather, Watauga High Athletics Director Tom Wright has announced that Tuesday's softball game between the PIoneers and Fred T. Foard has been moved to Newton. The JV game begins at 4:30 p.m.; the varisty game will follow. It's the

Northwestern 3A/4A Conference opener for both teams. The Tigers are ranked eighth in the state in the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association Class 3A Poll; The Pioneers (0-2) are off to a slow start.
They've lost to No.7 McDowell (February 28) and to West Forsyth (last Friday) on the road. The Pioneers will host Fred T. Foard on March 28
