The Watauga High baseball team will play a varsity-only game on Saturday in Charlotte against Ardrey Kell, the No.2 team in the state in Class 4A. The junior varsity game has been postponed, according to WHS coach Pete Hardee.
"(Ardrey Kell coach Hal Bagwell)

feels that we can beat the weather and get the varsity game in,'' he said. "He feels good about it, but we'll see what the weather does tomorrow."
The forcast is calling for a 20% chance of rain in Charlotte area on Saturday with cloudy skies and a high of 63 degrees. If the Pioneers do play, the game will start at 2:30 p.m. Our coverage begins at 2 p.m. on Oldies 100.7 FM.
