Midway through the Southern Conference indoor track and field season, Appalachian State leads in both men’s and women’s power rankings. The rankings are determined by the top eight times or
scores that are reported by the schools for each event that will be conducted at this month’s championship.
The ASU men have 189 points and are followed by Samford with 175 points. In women’s competition, Appalachian State has 157 points with Samford in second with 125 points. Western Carolina rounds out the top three for the men, while Georgia Southern’s women sit in third place.
