Travaris Cadet of Appalachian State University received his second all-star selection in as many weeks. Cadet, who led the Mountaineers in rushing with 651 yards and six touchdowns last season, played in the Florida All-Star Game last Saturday. He gained

14 yards on four carries as the North beat his South squad 51-3. Cadet's ASU teammate DeAndre Presley raised his stock with the pro scouts by returning a punt 65-yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Well, Cadet hopes to show off his abilities on February 4.
Cadet, who also caught 34 passes for 333 yards and a touchdown last season for the Mountaineers, has been selected to play in the Players All-Star Classic in Little Rock, ARK. The game will be played at War Memorial Stadium, AT&T Field. Cadet is one of 18 Football Championship Series players selected to play in that game.
Cadet will play for the South All-Stars, which will be coached by United Football League coach Kurt Schottenheimer, the son of current UFL coach (the Virginia Destroyers) and former National Football League coach Marty Schottenheimer. The North All-Stars will be coached by UFL coach Martin Bayless.
Cornerback/safety Corey White of Samford will join Cadet on the South squad. Montana had three players (the most of any FCS school) selected to play in this game.
The game kicks off at 4 p.m. eastern time and will be televised on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST).
