A Wilkesboro man has been charged in a wrong-way 105 mile-per-hour crash currently under investigation by Wilkesboro Police.  The crash was in the early morning hours Sunday on Main Street in Wilkesboro—a 20 mile per hour zone—police saying that Pablo Izquierdo was not only going 105, but was in the on-coming lane, where he slammed into a car driven by Joshua Emanuel Aaron. At this point, with Josh Aaron critically hurt, charges against Izquierdo include DWI, Careless & Reckless, Speeding, Left of Center and an equipment violation for having only one headlight.  Josh Aaron was rushed to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment, while Pablo was arrested, with bond for the 21-year old set at $10,000 with other charges said to be pending.
