Wineberg Commits To Westen Carolina PDF Print

Defensive lineman Josh Wineberg of Ashe County High School has made a verbal commitment to play college football at Western Carolina University next fall. Wineberg, who stands 6-foot-6 and weighs in at 240 pounds, will make it official

by signing his National Letter of Intent with the Catamounts on National Signing Day next Wednesday, February 1. He also becomes part of head coach Mark Speir's first recruiting class in Cullowee.
Speir, who was the recruiting coordinator and the inside linebackers coach at Appalachian State University, became head coach of the Catamounts in December. He inherits a program that was 0-8 in the Southern Conference last season.
