Coleman Stellar In Shrine Game PDF Print

Quarterback B.J. Coleman of Chattanooga, who missed the last four games of the 2011 season with a shoulder injury, had a strong showing Saturday night in the East-West Shrine All-Star Game at Tropicana Field in

St. Petersburg, FL.
Coleman, who got the starting nod for the East All-Stars, was  10-15 for 170 yards and a touchdown. The West won the game, 24-17.
Coleman, who transferred to Chattanooga from the University of Tennessee, threw for 6,871 yards in his collegiate career, which ranks second all-time in school history. He's also the school's all-time leader with 52 touchdown passes.

Coleman was 137-225 for 1,527 passing yards in seven games this season before he was injuried. He threw nine touchdown passes and he scored a touchdown with a career-high 60.9 completion percentage.
