WHS Grapplers Fall At Hibriten PDF Print

The Watauga High wrestling team dropped a 52-19 decision at Hibriten in Lenior, NC, Wednesday night.
The match was rescheduled after it was snowed out

last Friday. The WHS winners were Mark Townsend by forfeit at 106 pounds, Demetre Kostis by pinfall at 132, Jake Page by decision at 160, and Adam Uschelbec by major decision at heavy weight.
The Pioneers take on Fred T. Foard at Lentz-Eggers Gym tonight at 6 p.m. Gus Coffey, who has been on the shelf with an injury, is expected to make his return tonight, according to head coach Todd Allan.
