Appalachian State University football added three student-athletes — two transfers and a true freshman — to its roster on Tuesday, the first day of ASU’s spring semester. The newest Mountaineers include

NCAA Division I FBS transfers Alex Coulthard (Hamlet, N.C./Richmond County/North Carolina) and Quartterrio Morgan (Jonesboro, Ga./Mount Zion/Western Kentucky) and true freshman Tysean Holloway (Asheville, N.C./Asheville).
Coulthard has three years of athletic eligibility remaining while Morgan and Holloway will have four seasons of eligibility at Appalachian.
