Kostis Goes Undefeated At McDowell PDF Print

Demetre Kostis earned Most Valuable Wrestler honors on Saturday and the Pioneers went 2-3 against a tough field at the McDowell Duals in Marion, NC.
Kostis, who earned his honor

in the 145 pound weight division and under, went 5-0 against the field. Jonah Critcher went 4-1 at 182 pounds; Mark Townsend was 4-1 at 106 pounds. Team wise, the Pioneers posted victories against Draughn and East Burke.
The Pioneers travel to South Caldwell for their Northwestern 3A/4A Conference opener Tuesday night.
