Kyle Turns In Second- Place Finish PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's and Women's Swimming Teams hosted Queens and Limestone Saturday afternoon in a tri-meet at the Shuford Physical Education Center.
Queens won the meet with victories over both

Lenoir-Rhyne (197-46) and Limestone (165-79). Also in the combined team scores, Limestone defeated L-R by a 161-82 mark.
On the women's side, Queens prevailed over Lenoir-Rhyne (104-17) and Limestone (84-38) while the Saints defeated the Bears by an 89-32 score.
In the men's competition, Queens took care of Lenoir-Rhyne (93-29) and Limestone, 81-41. The Saints got the best the Bears as well, 72-50.
Lenoir-Rhyne freshman Chelsea Kyle (Knoxville, Tenn.) finished second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:17.23 while the Bears' women's 200-yard medley relay team was also a runner-up as they finished with a 1:56.21.
The relay squad consisted of Kyle, junior Gina Glenn (Matthews, N.C.), senior Lindsay Atkin (Hickory, N.C.) and sophomore Caroline Mills (Cary, N.C.).
Lenoir-Rhyne next competes against Wingate in a dual meet on Saturday, January 21, before hosting Catawba on Saturday, January 28, in its final home contest of the year.
