Damian Edwards is starting to feel like his old self again. And that spells doom for the opposition.
The former Pioneer, currently a freshman at Emory & Henry College, a Division III school in

Emory, Va., poured in 15 points on December 7, leading the Wasps from a 17-point deficit to an 85-79 win over Greensboro College just before the Christmas break.
Edwards, who has played in nine games this season, is averaging 11.9 points-per-game. He's shooting 41% from the three-point line, 73% from the foul line and he also has 19 steals. He poured in a career-high 21 points against Virginia Intermont on December 5; he had a 17-point effort against Ferrum on November 22.
Edwards, who graduated from Watauga High last spring, was named the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference Player of the Year last season. The Wasps take on Shenandoah at home on December 30.
