Former Appalachian State University linebacker D.J. Smith turned in his

best day as a professional football player on Sunday.
Smith, who was taken by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the National Football League Draft last April, had ten tackles, including seven solo stops, and his first career interception.
The Packers (13-0) kept their unbeaten season alive by pounding the Oakland Raiders 46-16 at Lambeau Field.
