Gus Coffey and Demetre Kostis of the Watauga High wrestling team just keep rolling along.
Those two went undefeated on Saturday at the

Alleghany Duals in Sparta, NC. Coffey and Kostis were both 5-0 against a competitive field, but the Pioneers didn't help their cause by forfieting four weight classes. WHS lost all five of its dual matches.
Coffey remains perfect on the season, improving his record to 12-0; Kostis is 12-2. Jonah Critcher was 4-1, Jackson Lawley and Gabriel Irwin were both 3-2.
"We had a tough day," said WHS coach Todd Allan. "But those things happen in wrestling. We were missing some people because of other obligations, and because some guys didn't make weight. We'll be all right."
The Pioneers travel to McDowell Thursday.
