ASU Student Dies in Spain PDF Print

Landon M. Hill, a senior communications / public relations major, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 while studying abroad in Spain, according to an ASU communication. According to the release, "Specific details regarding arrangements are not available at this time and will be shared once they become available,"(photo and no other information about the death was made available. The release said that Chancellor Peacock spoke to Hill's parents, and Jesse Lutabingwa, Associate Vice Chancellor for International Education and Development is in route to Spain to assist. According to the university, early next week, a memorial book for Landon will be available for signing at the Plemmons Student Union. A floral arrangement, photos and additional information will also be on the table.  This book will be sent to Landon's family as an expression of our concern and caring for them.  When the table has been set-up, an additional e-mail will be sent to the campus community. The Chancellor asked to keep Landon's family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
