Ferris, Jennings Named All-ODAC PDF Print

Seniors Michael Farris and Preston Jennings of Emory & Henry College have earned post-season honors from the Old Dominian Athletic Conference.
Ferris, who graduated from Watauga High in 2008, and Jennings, who graduated from Avery High that same year, have been named third-team all-conference selections

on offense. Ferris, who transferred to WHS from Weddington his senior year in the fall of 2007, was the starting center on the Pioneers' Final Four team that season.
Jennings, a wide receiver, was the starting quarterback for the Vikings in the fall of 2007. Jennings led the Wasps in receiving this season. He played in nine games, caught 71 passes for 539 yards and four touchdowns.
Senior offensive lineman Ben Johnson, who played at East Burke, was named a first team selection on offense. The Wasps were 5-5 this season.
