Toure, Delbridge Named to All-Tournament Team PDF Print

Following the Mountaineers' departure from the 2011 Southern Conference tournament, two Appalachian State men's soccer players have been named to the all-Tournament team. Defender Harrison Delbridge

and forward Boubacar Toure were two of the 11 players selected by SoCon coaches for the squad.
Toure had a breakout day on Sunday, Nov. 6, when the Apps defeated Davidson, 2-0, in the first round of the SoCon playoff. Toure scored both of Appalachian's goals on the day, doubling his previous total to four goals on the year.
In addition to serving as a critical part of the Mountaineers' back line, Delbridge stepped up to score the first goal in ASU's 2-1 overtime loss to UNCG in the semifinal. The goal was the third of the season for the sophomore, and the game marked the seventh in which he played from start to finish.
