WHS Soccer Has Six All-Conference Selections PDF Print

The Watauga High boys soccer team had six players named to the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference team. Senior Zach Helms, who paced the Pioneers


and the NW3A/4A with 13 goals this fall, goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell, Justin Wolfe, Eli Murrey, Berkley Wilcox, and Logan Raichle were named all-conference.
Hickory, which won the regular-season championship, had seven choices. And the Red Tornadoes also captured three of the four top honors in league play.
Chris Dixon of the Red Tornadoes was named the Player of the Year; Carlos Sevilla of Hickory was the Offensive Player of the Year; and Brian Jillings of the Red Tornadoes captured Coach of the Year honors.
Douglas Terry of Hibriten was the Defensive Player of the Year.
