Applachian State University field hockey Brooklyn Shearer was named all-NorPac East by the Northern Pacific Field Hockey Conference office Wednesday night at the annual NorPac Championship banquet.
The Chambersburg, Pa. native competed in 17 games, including 16 starts.  She is second ranked for the Mountaineers with four

goals and two assists, and leads the team with
32 shots and 22 shots on goal. The sophomore forward netted the game winning-goal in the
Mountaineers’ 3-2 win at Radford on September 23.  It was ASU’s first win at Radford in school history.  Her game winning-goal against Radford started her three-game goal streak, which was the longest individual goal streak of the season for the Mountaineers. Shearer
recorded an assist in the Apps 3-2 victory over Liberty.
The Mountaineers will face No. 6 Stanford in the first round of the NorPac Championship tournament on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Stanford, Calif. at Varsity Turf Field.
