The University of Charlotte has christened its new football stadium McColl-Richardson Field.
The facility is being named after Bank of America CEO Hugh McColl and current Carolina

Panthers president Jerry Richardson, who both provided financial support for the new program. The facility will seat 15,000, and according to sources, the stadium will officially open in August of 2012.
The 49ers will officially start playing FCS football in 2013, and they will host Campbell in the first game ever to be played in that stadium on August 31, 2013.
