|Bears' Linehan Named SAC Player Of Week|

Lenoir-Rhyne University's Laura Linehan has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player Of The Week, league officials announced today.
The Bears rallied from a 1-0 deficit to take the win and claim the regular season title for the second consecutive season and the first outright championship in school history.
Linehan, a two-time First-Team All-SAC honoree (2008 and 2009), currently leads the team in assists (six) and points (26) and is tied for first on the squad in goals scored in 2011 with 10.
On Lenoir-Rhyne's career lists, Linehan is second in goals scored (45) and points (108).
L-R (15-1, 9-0) earned the top seed in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament for the second consecutive season and will play eighth-seeded Carson-Newman (5-10-1).
Starting time for the quarterfinal match between the Bears and the Lady Eagles is set for 5:00 p.m., at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex in Hickory, N.C.
