Boone Wall Street Protest Supporters Brave Cold, Rain PDF Print

Occupy Wall Street protestors had to face a dose of snow, wind, along with some clashes with law enforcement in several areas this weekend. But the taste of what was to come weather wise started with the Weather in Boone Friday afternoon, and a march supporting the national movement walking from the ASU campus to the 321/105 intersection.  Samantha O’Brian of Boone got the permit and lead the rally to show support for the Wall Street and other rallies across the country and to ask to deal with things going on in our community, and said she was proud of the turn out in the rain and cold.
