The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team has risen in both the national and regional polls this week.
In the NSCAA NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, the Bears have moved up one spot to fifth nationally.  The No. 5 ranking is the

highest in school history for Lenoir-Rhyne.  NSCAA is the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Lenoir-Rhyne also moved up one place to second in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Poll this week.
Other South Atlantic Conference schools in this week's regional rankings include Wingate (sixth) and Tusculum (seventh).
A total of six schools from the Southeast Region will be selected to the 2011 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament.
The six teams will include the league tournament champions from the Peach Belt Conference, the Conference Carolinas and the South Atlantic Conference in addition to three at-large teams.
Lenoir-Rhyne is currently 14-1 on the year, 8-0 in the South Atlantic Conference and are riding a school-record 13-match winning streak.
With its 4-3 victory over Wingate last Saturday at home, L-R clinched at least a share of the SAC Regular Season Championship for the second consecutive year.
Lenoir-Rhyne will host Tusculum on Saturday as part of Senior Day beginning at 5 p.m., at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex for a chance to claim the title outright.
