ASU Athletics to Host S.C. Upstate Reception on Nov. 4 PDF Print

Appalachian State University athletics will host a complimentary reception for Mountaineer faithful on Friday, Nov. 4 at the High Cotton restaurant in downtown Greenville, S.C. The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by program at 7 p.m.

Director of athletics Charlie Cobb, several Appalachian coaches and the Yosef Club staff will all be on hand to discuss the excitement surrounding ASU athletics. In addition to Appalachian football’s run at a seventh-straight Southern Conference title, topics of discussion will include an update on ASU’s athletics feasibility study, a preview of the highly anticipated 2011-12 Mountaineer basketball campaigns and much more.
The reception takes place the night before ASU football renews its rivalry with Furman at Paladin Stadium in Greenville. The event is open to all Yosef Club members, Appalachian alumni and friends. Admission is FREE but attendees must register in advance at
