Mark LeGree's stay with the Arizona Cardinals didn't last very long.

The former All-America safety from Appalachian State University was released by the Cardinals on Wednesday. LeGree, who was on the practice squad, became expendable when the team signed cornerback Korey Lindsey to the practice squad right after the team released him.
LeGree was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the National Football League Draft last April. But he was the only player among the nine draft picks selected by the Seahawks to be released. LeGree was cut loose by the Seahawks on September 3.
The Cardinals added LeGree to their practice squad on September 21. LeGree played in four pre-season games with Seattle and made four tackles before being released.
