The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team (2-1), ranked No. 7 in NCAA Division II, picked up a 2-1 overtime win on the road against Pfeiffer University (0-4) Monday afternoon at N.E. Lekfo Field.

L-R senior forward Laura Linehan (San Diego, Calif.) scored the game-winning goal just 2:28 into the extra frame when she took a cross from senior midfielder Kaelia Frazier (Cedar Falls, Iowa) and finished with a shot to the right post for the score.
Pfeiffer had tied the match at one in the 85th minute when Brittany Papaj (Sandy Hook, Conn.) scored from right side of the 18-yard box, connecting to the top shelf just over the Bears' goalkeeper.
Senior All-American midfielder Catherine Hauck (Lake Mary, Fla.) opened the scoring for L-R at the 24:11 mark of the first half with a shot just inside of the six-yard box.
Both Hauck and Linehan lead the Bears with two goals each on the young season.
L-R was in control throughout the match as it held a 28-7 advantage in shots taken while senior goalkeeper Caitlin Scruggs (Torrance, Calif.) picked up the win after tallying a pair of saves.
Pfeiffer's Brittany Polly (Boca Raton, Fla.) also stopped two shots in goal but suffered the loss for the Falcons.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to take on Belmont Abbey Wednesday at 7 p.m. Pfeiffer, meanwhile, plays on the road at Converse Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
