Growing Pot Found in Two Avery Locations PDF Print

Avery County Sheriff/Municipal Drug Task found two outdoor marijuana growing operations this past week.  Monday, task force detectives found 17 plants growing in the Roaring Creek area of Avery County, plants were between 5-8 feet tall.  On Wednesday, task force detectives found another 7 plants in the Cranberry area of Avery County.  These plants were between 1-7 feet tall.  Investigations are continuing in both grow operations and arrests seem likely as the investigation continues.
