Boone Man Charged with Kidnapping, Meth Lab PDF Print

A Boone man was arrested Saturday in Sevierville Tennessee for allegedly carrying methamphetamine lab components in his truck, and for holding his wife against her will while on the move, according to Acting on a tip, Sevierville Police Department officers stopped Shawn Marvin Thomas Lambert, 33,

of Boone, N.C., at a gas station near Interstate 40 in Kodak on Saturday, according to police spokesman Bob Stahlke. Officers, with assistance from Sevier County Sheriff's Office detectives, allegedly found the makings of a mobile meth lab in his vehicle, according to police. Aand they said at the time of his arrest, the suspect's wife claimed that he was holding her against her will under threat of physical violence. Lambert now is charged with one count of manufacturing Schedule II narcotics and one count of aggravated kidnapping. He is being held in the Sevier County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond and is said to be wanted in Mountain City, Tennessee as well.
