A Lenoir man was injured in an early morning wreck today on US 321near Aho Road when he struck and killed a deer.  33-year old Wyatt Daniel Turner managed to call 9-1-1, saying that his green Nissan Altima struck the deer, and that he was suffering chest pains from hitting the steering wheel. Turner had been south-bound just past Tweetsie when the accident occurred just before 4:30 this morning.  Blowing Rock Fire/Rescue responded along with Watauga Medics, who transported him to Watauga Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Trooper Hodges, investigating, said no charges would come from the accident.
