Watauga County Crimestoppers and the Boone Police Department request your help in identifying the person(s) responsible for the following crime(s): On 06-05-2011, a larceny was reported to have occurred at Walmart in Boone.

Witnesses described a white male, approximately 30 to 35 years of age in appearance, with long hair in a pony tail and a ball cap. The suspect was witnessed loading some items in a Chevrolet, extended cab pick up truck near the loading dock area of Walmart before speeding away.

Walmart video surveillance footage shows the suspect as described above, pushing a shopping cart with multiple items in and around the Electronics Department. Video also shows a truck in the parking lot along Leola Street travel from a parked position towards the loading dock area where it stops. Items from the shopping cart to include a reported 32 inch flat screen television are placed into the rear of the truck. The truck then leaves traveling towards US Highway 321 on Pride Drive (next to Kmart).
