Terrible road conditions have lead to numerous traffic accidents, and with even more snow expected, schools have again been canceled across the High Country.

Called off are:

Watauga County Schools, closed for students and teachers for Monday, December 13th.  The snow day program at Hardin Park is expected to open at 7:30 a..m but this opening could be delayed or canceled in the event road conditions become very severe.

Avery County Schools: "On Monday, December 13, ACS will be closed for students and teachers.

Ashe County Schools will be closed for Teachers and Students on Monday December 13, 2010.  The make up day wil be December 22, 2010.

Johnson County (TN) Schools will be CLOSED December 13, 2010 due to inclement weather.

Carter County, TN, Schools will be closed Monday, Dec. 13
