Appalachian State saw its five-week run as the unanimous No.1 team in the country come to an end Monday afternoon.

The Mountaineers (8-1 overall; 6-1 Southern Conference), who saw their 26-game SoCon winning streak come to an end Saturday at Georgia Southern, fell from their lofty perch. ASU, which plays Wofford for the SoCon championship Saturday at Kidd Brewer Stadium, is now ranked third in the country in both The Sports Network and FCS Coaches Polls.
William & Mary is No.1 in the TSN Poll. The Tribe (7-2) received 105 first-place votes; Delaware (8-1), which lost to William & Mary earlier this year by a 17-16 score on October 23, is No.2. The Blue Hens received 31 first-place votes.
But it's just the opposite in the Coaches Poll with Delaware ranked No.1 and William & Mary at No. 2. The Blue Hens received 19 first-place votes; the Tribe received seven.
The Apps did receive ten first-place votes in the TSN Poll, but none in the Coaches Poll. Wofford (8-1; 6-0 SoCon), which leads the SoCon by one-half game over ASU for first place, was ranked fourth in both polls. The Terriers received five first-place votes in the TSN Poll, and two in the Coaches Poll.
Our coverage of ASU-Wofford begins at 1 pm on AM 1450, WATA Saturday.
