Several Injuries in Boone Traffic Accidents PDF Print

Several injuries were reported in accidents of various types yesterday afternoon, including a young woman injured when struck by a vehicle on the lot at the Wendy’s at 105 and 321. The 5pm accident caused the woman leg injuries for which she was transported by Watauga Medics to Watauga Medical Center, but she was up standing on her own when emergency units arrived. 
There was a slight injury in the collision of three silver vehicles just after 3pm at the intersection of Blowing Rock Road and Boone Heights Drive.  The elderly woman suffered some neck pain after the rear-end collision, and was also taken to Watauga Medical Center for treatment. 
In Avery, emergency units were called to Elk River for injuries sustained in an ATV accident involving a Gator.  Few details from the 3pm accident were available, Banner Elk units called to the scene.
