This is getting monotonous.

For the third time this season, quarterback DeAndre Presley of the Appalachian State football team has been named Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Presley, who has put up big numbers this season for the Moutaineers, stepped up big in Saturday's win against Elon.
The ASU junior racked up 374 yards of total offense, he scored two touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass as the Mountaineers defeated Elon 34-31 in front of a record crowd of 31,531 on Homecoming Saturday. It was also Appalachian State's 23rd consecutive win in league play, and its 29th straight win at home against an in-state opponent.
"DeAndre is doing what we've asked him to do," said ASU coach Jerry Moore. "He is following a long list of great quarterbacks that we've had here, and he's peformed very well. But what impresses me the most are his leadership qualities. He has earned the full respect of his teammates."
But Presley is listed as day-to-day for Saturday's match-up with The Citadel. He suffered a head injury late in last Saturday's game against Elon. Back-up quarterback Jamal Jackson came in to finish things up. Presley is being evaluated on a daily basis.
Our coverage of Saturday's game with the Bulldogs begins at 4 pm on AM 1450, WATA.
